I love new beginnings! They encourage us to be forward-focused with new plans and possibilities.
Believe it or not, we’re about to enter a new month, and it’s time to create stellar momentum! Together, let’s make the next 90 days be the most unforgettable three months you have experienced in your direct sales business!
Here is a 90 day Self-Coaching formula that can truly create dazzling results!
Grab a piece of paper, or a blank page in your journal, and follow the action steps below:
Action #1: Evaluate the past 90 days. Begin a written declaration of what’s right in your business right now, and what makes it right. I like to refer to this as taking a personal inventory of your business and personal growth. You want to gather a clear picture of your personal strengths and the action steps that have designed your successes over the past 90 days. When you focus on the positive aspects of your
business, you set the pace for momentum.
Action #2: Establish your business theme for the next 90 days by asking yourself, “What one thing needs to happen in the next 90 days for this to be the best 90 days of my direct sales business?” Write out your answer as simply and clearly as possible as it will identify and define your goal for the next 90 days.
Action #3: Design a results-driven action plan for the next 90 days by working backward from your goal. This is called backward planning or backward goal setting. The idea is to start with your ultimate 90 day goal in mind, and then work backward from there to develop your plan. By starting at the end and looking back, you can mentally prepare yourself for success and map out the specific milestones, resources, and action steps you need to reach and when they need to be achieved.
When I was a first grade teacher, I utilized backward planning with my lesson plans. Each week, there was an objective my kids needed to master by Friday. Beginning with that outcome, I worked backwards and outlined what they’d need to know by Thursday, and by Wednesday, Tuesday and Monday. Then, I would plug in the activities each day that would move us forward and bring us to the end result.
Action #4: Describe the tangible results you will experience in 60 days, and backward to 30 days as you play out your action steps. This will give you concrete evidence that you’re on track to reach your 90 day goal.
Action #5: Create a mission statement or daily affirmation for the next 90 days. This is a concise one or two sentence phrase centered around the expected achievement your goal. Take 15 minutes during every morning to voice your affirmation, reflect on your goal, envision your best action steps, and map out
a day that’s intentional, productive and fun!
Action #6: Find your “Encouragers”. Develop a success circle of people who have a genuine interest in you and appreciate your dedication to your 90 day goal. Be selective! Wrap yourself in people who are buzzing with energy, taking action, and excited about life. They will cheer you on, guide you, and boost your confidence if you’re feeling discouraged. Most importantly, they give you courage to act!
Every moment in your direct sales business, including this one, is a new beginning!
Make the next 90 days dazzle with your personal artistry!

Hi Debra,
Great list! I love the daily affirmations because if you change the affirmations from negative to positive, the new language leads to new thoughts and habits.
Example: if someone’s struggling with taking everything personally, a daily affirmation of telling yourself NOT to take things personally, and that it not about you, can make a huge difference … especially if you do it daily.
