Taking Action on a Dream!

Hi and welcome to my blog!

I’m so honored and excited to be connecting with you and look forward to creating amazing conversations and learning experiences with you.

I’m writing from the beautiful sun coast of Florida where I live with my husband and our two young children. 

My journey in direct sales began after the birth of our first child.  I left my career as a first grade teacher shortly before our daughter was born.  I was blessed to be able to focus my entire energy on my newborn and being a stay at home mom.  I absolutely loved motherhood!  And still do! My life was good, but my vision for what I wanted it to be and what it could be was breathtaking. 

My passion was to create a remarkable lifestyle for my growing family which meant bringing my husband home from his 12 hour work days as an elementary principal.  I wanted to give him the gift of embracing these once in lifetime moments and milestones we share daily with our children.  

So, I went searching…

During this time our son was born, and 4 months later I found the Direct Sales profession and knew I had found the answer to living our dream!

Well, as you can imagine, my parents and friends thought I was absolutely crazy to start a home business with one child in my arms, one in my lap, and a husband who was hardly home.  However, I was determined.  I knew it could be done and absolutely believed that I could achieve it by blending the art and flexibility of direct sales and the new phenomena of social media.  

And, I did it!   After 3 years of focused action, our family dream came true.  My husband, Brad, was able to resign his position as an elementary principal.  He became a stay at home dad and my full time business partner.

Direct Sales and Social Media continue to be an amazing platform for me to be an at home entrepreneur.  And, I know they can do the same for you!

Direct Sales is an incredible profession offering the flexibility to be a “family first” entrepreneur and create a business that embraces our unique personalities, style, goals, and family lifestyle.

Social media enhances this experience by providing a stunning arena to expand our connections and engage in conversations with new customers, potential team partners, and team members.

Beyond our Wildest Dreams!

We took our dream one step further, and after living our entire lives in Michigan, we decided to escape the long cold gloomy winters and move 1500 across the country to the sunny beaches of Florida’s gulf coast. 

We sold our home, loaded up a truck with everything we owned and literally opened up a map of Florida with no idea of where we were going to live.  We didn’t have a house waiting for us, we didn’t have a job dictating which city we had to move to, and we didn’t have a time clock to punch or contracted vacation time to limit our schedule.  Our life was our own. 

Being in total control of our choices and our future is extremely liberating.  That’s the power of Direct Sales and taking action on your dreams.

Through my journey, it’s been rewarding to empower our children with real life lessons about believing in yourself, staying true to your values, and working to make your dreams come true.  My children continue to dazzle me as they have taught me several lessons from our playroom on how to embrace my inner child and play full out in life and business!

The financial strength of owning your own business is extraordinary, but the true value is learning something you’ve never known, doing something you’ve never done, and becoming someone you’ve never been!
