Your personal artistry, or brand, is the most important and influential factor in designing your dazzling direct sales – social media presence. Your personal brand evolves daily, and is crafted and shaped by:
• Your image: Who you are, your values, personality, and spirit
• Your message: What you are known for, your expertise, knowledge, and value-centered content
• Your impact: What sets you apart and makes you unique
• Your Visibility: How you connect and contribute within social media
Your personal brand, and particularly your message, is your “power product” to touch and transform others. Ultimately, your personal brand is measured by perception and how your network is elevated, empowered, and enhanced by your presence.
Here are a few questions to help you design and construct your personal artistry and message.
What image do you want others to think of when they connect with you? – This will build upon your character and personality
What knowledge, thoughts, or emotion do you want others to grab from you? This will be driven by the passion, expertise, and relevant usable content you bring to your network.
What do you want others to be talking about after they have connected with you? This will measure the impact of your message, your power to elevate people, and your value-driven contributions.
What action do you want others to be taking after they connect with you? This influence will empower others in not only thinking about their actions in a new way, but inspiring them to change the way they do things.
Once you define your personal brand and message, you’ll be able to work brilliantly and connect beautifully as it will be driving force to your daily social media activities. It’s the bridge to constructing new relationships with potential customers and business team partners.
Let’s look at specific ways this personal branding formula can impact your message!
Your image will always be defined by who you are and expressed within your profile picture, and your personality weaved into the language and attitude of your posts and content.
Your visibility will always be demonstrated in the variety of social media tools in which you engage to broadcast your message; blog, video, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
• If you’re a consultant with a skin care and cosmetic company:
Your message could be about the benefits of natural skin care, stylish makeup application, proactive anti-aging routines, or how to pull the right cosmetic colors together to create amazing results.
Your impact will be created in the way you empower women or teens to feel confident about their features and embrace their natural beauty.
• If you’re a direct sales leader and successful parent entrepreneur:
Your message might be how to embrace harmony and balance within a direct sales family, raising entrepreneurial children, or ways to engage your children into the growth of a family business.
Your impact will empower other women and men to embark on a unique lifestyle of working from home and creating a family first experience.
Can you begin to feel the power of how personal branding can impact your social media presence?
It’s important to understand the difference between your personal brand message and traditional advertising. I’m talking about creating an authentic marketing platform to highlight your character, expertise, and the value you bring to a relationship. It’s a platform to move people in new directions, attract them to you, and forge dynamic partnerships.
I can’t wait to be part of your personal brand energy!
