Yes, it finally happened. Our 10 year old daughter just used that three-letter word! When my husband and I heard it drift through the air in the playroom, we gasped! It was very clear she understood the immense power behind that simple word. And, well, we couldn’t be more proud of her!
Here’s how the conversation went at the art table:
Frustrated 6 year old brother: “I can’t do it.”
Wise 10 year old sister: “It’s not that you can’t do it. It’s that you can’t do it yet.”
What a huge difference that tiny word made in the attitude and results of the morning activities!
Imagine the impact that three-letter word can have on your direct sales business.
Yet places your current situation in the proper context.
Yet demonstrates your certainty of a positive outcome.
The official dictionary definition of the word “yet” reads like a page right out of any self-improvement book:
…used to stress that it remains possible that something will happen
or that you are still determined to do something despite present difficulties
Your detailed visions of tomorrow and your determined actions today will empower you with the courage of your convictions. Here’s a quick exercise to get you thinking and moving forward as we turn over a new page on the calendar today:
• First, write down in complete sentences all the remarkable things you have not accomplished in your direct sales business.
• Then, go back and add the word “yet” at the end of every sentence.
• Now, read your sentences again. Embrace the power and energy of the dazzling possibilities and results that await your action.
Are you feeling “EmPowerful” yet? I’d love to hear what you’re going to accomplish!

Hi Deb,
I love this message! Thank you very much! It was perfectly timed for me. I’ve been down on myself recently because I’m not where I think “should” be in life and in business. I had an epiphany yesterday and my whole outlook has changed. Reading about the “3-letter word” this morning just reinforced this new outlook.
Thanks again!
Maggie
